Owner / Funeral Director
Brent is the third generation of Georges to serve in the funeral business. He is owner of the St. Paul Funeral Home and a licensed Funeral Director with the Shelbyville firm. He graduated from the Mid-America College for Funeral Services in 2004. He is married to Angie and they have 4 children; Mya, Brennon, Zion, and Lillie. He enjoys sports, riding his motorcycle and hunting.
Founder
Glenn E. George is the founder of Glenn E. George Funeral Home. He opened his first funeral home in St. Paul in 1972, and in 1996 partnered with his son, Tony, to open the second George funeral home in Shelbyville, Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, which is still owned and operated by Tony George. In March of 2025, Glenn sold the St. Paul funeral home to Brent George, fifty three years to the day that he bought it. Glenn graduated from Waldron High School and then graduated from the Indiana College of Mortuary Science in 1970. Glenn had been married to Moneida for 73 years before her passing in early 2024. He has one son, Tony, and two daughters Nancy and Cindy. Glenn's retirement hobbies include driving his Model A Fords and buying/selling antiques.
